ProRail highly commended at PSMA (itSMF) Awards

Marval customer ProRail was highly commended in the ITIL Experience category of the Professional Service Management Awards (PSMA) organised by the itSMF UK. The award winners were announced at a Gala Dinner event on 18th November in London the first evening of the itSMF’s annual conference.

The prestigious awards also include Service Transformation Project of the year, Service Management Team of the Year and Service Innovation of the year. The ITIL Experience award is presented to the team that has made best use of ITIL and specifically its guiding principles to significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of service management within the organisation.

ProRail is responsible for the construction, maintenance and management of the entire Dutch rail network, including all relevant services, facilities and equipment such as tunnels, overpasses, overhead power lines, signals, switches and stations.
ProRail-ICT is responsible for the development and management of current and future systems and services. 

ProRail-ICT chose to enter the ITIL experience award because of its customer aligned, innovative and integrated approaches of delivering an improved customer experience and satisfaction whilst delivering value to customers and the business. They have adopted the ITIL framework into several departments within the organisation and have embraced a more agile and lean approach to continual improvement.
